@EllenMcKnightMD@IP4PI @HConomics Health insurance as we know it is a legalised Ponzi scheme. Health insurance is supposed to be a healthcare safety net in order to avoid financial disaster but in reality it doesn’t. We can’t afford to use it because of the high deductables, formularies & refusals to cover svcs
The fact there are still critics holding out in hopes that Georgia will suffer a grave second wave of Coronavirus so they can be “right” is exactly what’s wrong with us all right now.
Brit Med Jrnl, etc., on UK LOCKDOWN CARNAGE: “’Staggering number’ of extra deaths in community is NOT explained by covid-19”..“People are dying of other causes that would not have happened under normal conditions – & are collateral damage of the lockdown”

@ajc@Josh_Irwin_C Remdesivir. Very expensive. Very limited research including unknown risk. The story doesn't mention the name of the drug until a few paragraphs in.
Meanwhile, hydroxychloroquine and zinc has been in use for decades has good and mounting evidence and is very cheap.
A lot of high-information news consumers seem to think the evidence for immunity to COVID is iffy, but while there are uncertainties the actual news has been pretty good as research has evolved. https://t.co/Y8hntBLjUB

The word arthritis doesn't tell you anything. Arth means joint, itis means inflammation. So, @TG3II had joint inflammation in his knee. No good surgical option. Might be some unique rehab options but he's not calling me yet.
