Caring for others is a labor of love. Grateful to
spend this Labor Day doing what I'm called to
do-serving patients alongside the dedicated
healthcare professionals who never stop
showing up.
:
As you enjoy the holiday, remember to stay
hydrated, protect yourself in the sun, practice
food/water safety, and never drink and drive.
Have a safe and healthy Labor Day!🇺🇸🩺❤️
drjanette This is what it's all about. 2 Moments like this
are truly humbling and remind me why I do what I do. It
is an honor and a privilege to care for soldiers who have
sacrificed so much in service to our country & and to be
trusted by the families who stand beside them. I'm so
grateful for this meaningful gift from a soldier's family
and the reminder of what service, sacrifice, and
gratitude truly mean.

drjanette Happy Mother's Day to the woman who gave
me everything
When my father passed away when I was 13, my mom
somehow found the strength to be both mom & dad to
us 5 kids, while carrying the weight of heartbreak with
grace, faith, and unconditional love. She sacrificed more
than I will probably ever understand and because of her,
I learned resilience, compassion, hard work, and how to
keep going even when life felt impossible. Everything I
am today began with her strength and inspiration. To all
the moms out there carrying double the load holding
amilies together we honor you. Love you, Mom❤️
drjanette Happy Monday! Here's a reminder that the real
impact is in what we do every day. Health is built in the
basics:
7-8 hours of sleep
daily movement *,
staying hydrated
stress control and
knowing your numbers ie blood pressure, glucose, lipids
etc.
If something feels off, don't ignore it bc early action =early intervention 🩺
drjanette Food is medicine and fiber is one of the most
underrated prescriptions.
A fiber-rich diet supports gut health, helps regulate
olood sugar, lowers cholesterol, and keeps you feeling
fullonger. Most people aren't getting enough.
Aim for ~25-35g of fiber daily from real, whole foods
like vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains. Your
gut (and heart) willthank you.
Tell me, what's your favorite high-fiber food you swear
by?

What motivates you to give your best each day?
drjanette Do you know what this dish is?
It's Maqluba
the famous upside-down Jordanian
dish. Layered rice, potatoes, chicken, chickpeas, and
spices, then flipped for the big reveal.
Real food, real nutrition, rich in culture and delicious
home cooking by mom! What is your favorite home
cooked Christmas meal?
drjanette The rhythm of the waves mirrors the rhythm
of your heart about 100,000 beats a day flowing
through 60,000 miles of blood vessels quietly keeping
you alive. Step outside, breathe in fresh air and let
nature recharge your batteries. Sometimes the best
medicine is not a prescription but simply sunlight, fresh
air, and a peaceful moment by the water. Did you know
there's science behind why the ocean calms us, it's
because sea air boosts serotonin and lowers our stress
hormones.
