Dr. Brannan is a highly skilled surgeon, an incredibly nice guy, and a huge Razorback fan who served our country for 20 years in the Air Force. Dr. Brannan and I met in Charlotte, NC when we completed our Hand Surgery Fellowships together. Welcome home! #UAMSOrtho#OrthoTwitter
We're super excited to have this #ortho rock star join our department and awesome team in Northwest Arkansas!

I’m already operating on firework injuries. Please use extreme caution when lighting fireworks, or better yet- leave it to the professionals. https://t.co/LJlXaJjbJz #uamsortho#orthotwitter#handsurgery
Check out this cool drone video one of our new chief residents, Dr. Keith Nord, took at Pinnacle Mountain. It’s hard to beat an Arkansas mountain sunset.
Our family loves climbing Pinnacle Mountain. #orthotwitter#UAMSOrtho#pinnaclemountain#arkansasoutdoors
Happy Graduation Day, Wes. Dr. Mayes is an absolute fun guy to work with. He always keeps things light-hearted and stress-free. Additionally, he's a great surgeon and I look forward to seeing great things from him in the future. #uamsortho

“I was born with a cleft hand and cleft foot. I am blessed that I have amazing doctors to operate, amazing family to love and support me, and a God that made me the way I am and has gotten me through every challenge in life.
Life comes with obstacles, but always persevere.”
Dr. Wilson is a talented surgeon. She is always one of my favorites to operate with, and she will be a great hand surgeon. Her positive nature and easy going attitude made working with her fun.
Day 3 of Graduation Week in Orthopaedic Surgery at @uamshealth! Congrats Dr. Maggie Wilson on your achievements! The Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center at @JeffersonUniv is lucky to have you in their fellowship program!#orthotwitter
We had a VIP visit our amputee clinic today. Jacob lost his arm several years ago. He stopped by amputee clinic today to provide hope, inspiration, knowledge and experience. We appreciate his time and positive energy. #amputeeclinic#uamsortho#orthotwitter

Today, I continued to operate on significantly injured hands as a result of firework injuries. This year was one of the worst ever. Despite my best efforts, many of the patients will never be the same.
I'm happy to announce that Dr. Tait and I, along with a very talented Occupational Therapist and Prosthetist, will be offering an upper-extremity amputee clinic each month at our clinic.

I had a great time at Dr. Bertilli’s peripheral nerve course in Barcelona, Spain.
It was really interesting to discuss cases with international leaders in the field, including nerve surgeons from 5 continents. #UAMS#brachialplexus#peripheralnerve#handsurgery
Congratulations to a great group of Orthopaedic Surgery residency graduates. One of my favorite parts of working at @uamshealth is interacting with and teaching the residents. This group is destined for great things. #UAMSstrong
