No one has talked about the range of the Model YL.
I believe the China made Model YL has a range equivalent to the Model Y Premium RWD.
Why is the American Model YL rated for less??
Is it the tires?
Are we going to actually drive the rated range and possibly more?
Are we going to see increased range in the near future?

Tesla has its own challenges- the constantly negative and deceptive media coverage and the insane hatred generated by media and swallowed whole by half the population. Also, barriers to FSD approval in most regions. It’s selling despite the challenges.

Can’t change Tesla’s challenges, can’t change Chinese, European and American companies challenges. It is what it is.

@third_street I really feel the upgrade in my Model Y but not so much in the Model X.
Is it because Model X already had a great sound system or did Tesla just not care to optimize it for the X.

Now it will be more capable than anything else any other car manufacturer will ship for another 3-5 years.

I have used Francis Energy owned Tesla Superchargers going from Joplin, MO to Plano, Tx at Muskogee and Durant, OK.
Without using these Francis Tesla superchargers (which I found on the Tesla website) Tesla suggests you a route which is 20 miles longer.
I put them as a pit stop manually, and from there on they acted exactly like Tesla superchargers. Preconditioned and no registration or credit card etc needed. Just took the money directly from my Tesla account.

They’re a little more expensive but very helpful and saved me driving time.

@GrulkeLamonte Test drive a Model Y before you decide. I’d recommend the Premium RWD model. Experience FSD and a car that’s a good ten years ahead of the rest of the competition.

It’s very helpful to have their network offer additional charging options to customers.
