#WATCH | Udhampur, J&K | Udhampur Chief Medical Officer, Dr Anil Manhas, said, "The health department will organise the Pulse Polio Immunisation drive from 21 to 23 December. For this, we have set up 535 pulse polio booths in the district and deployed 144 teams. Our target is to provide the vaccine to 86,102 children under the age of five. We have also deployed 2148 people at the booths... We will deploy door-to-door activity on 22 and 23 December... The health department workers will provide the polio vaccine to the remaining children on these days... The vaccine will reach remote areas by Saturday evening (20 December), so we will be able to cover these areas as well." (18.12)
#Udhampur is fully prepared for the upcoming Pulse Polio Immunization drive, confirmed Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anil Manhas. The three-day campaign starts on December 21 with booth-level activities, followed by door-to-door sweeps on December 22 and 23. Dr. Manhas urged all parents to bring their children to the nearest booth for the life-saving polio drops and help achieve a polio-free Udhampur.

Primarily we do screening here and if a suspected patient is found we refer them to a higher level. Free medicines are provided here. Infrastructure has improved... Along with physical health, we also focus on mental health and hence we also arrange Yoga classes in the centres."
