Should we reject raises, bonuses, or promotions? Maybe we should divest of all investments? This imprecision is hard to take seriously.

I’m no teetotaler, and I am all for Christian liberty, but there’s a kind of “whiskey culture” in Reformed Christian circles that’s worth possible caution, I think.

We mustn't draw lines not drawn by Scripture. Yet, great wisdom and discretion is needed—especially by church elders—lest weaker saints are made to stumble, or any aspersions be cast upon our “above-reproach-ness.”

This may seem like a blinding flash of the obvious, but if you deny the literal bodily resurrection of Jesus, you have denied the Gospel & are not a Christian. Romans 10:9-10 & I Corinthians 15 are not that complicated to interpret.

The FSU shooting is horrific & tragic. Kids, even adult ones, should always feel safe. But before we opine & politically pontificate on our policy soapboxes can we just take a moment to grieve with those who grieve & hug our family & friends?
