Parents need to know:
There is no research demonstrating that staying OFF social media is harmful to kids.
There are many reasons to let kids on, or keep them off social media, but don't feel pressured to give access for this reason. In fact, some of our data shows the most popular and socially competent kids are choosing to get off social media these days!

@adhdjesse Too few adult-oriented clinicians get any, let alone thorough, training in managing/assessing ADHD in adulthood. Most training programs still approach ADHD as a childhood problem, unfortunately.
I’m writing a chapter on the intersectionality between ADHD & other stuff. (I.e. conditions/race/culture/gender/sexuality) so people understand our lived experience better.
