God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.
This sentiment from the First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California is dangerous and wrong.
Responsible public voices should be awaiting a full investigation, not making generalizations and demonizing law-abiding citizens.
The last team to beat @IndianaFootball was @NDFootball by the way.
The corrupt, SEC loving CFP committee got it wrong.
I’m gunna put it out there that the Irish ☘️ would have been closer than 35 today.
Not one mention of ND during this bloodbath of a Rose Bowl.
A mild suggestion that the corrupt committee got it wrong putting in Bama over ND would suffice.
Not a SINGLE MENTION?!?!
Shameful.
@Ivan_Maisel How could you be part of a committee but then not participate in what the committee actually does? Sounds like you should have been replaced.
Computer polls and ESPN power index have @NDFootball at 6 and 3, ahead of @AlabamaFTBL and Miami football. Makes you wonder, who is benefitting from them in, and ND out?
Where has all the leadership gone? If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment? The “suspending indefinitely” of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation. Maybe the Constitution should have said, “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one’s political or financial self-interest.” By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.
