My Go-To High-Performance Smoothie 🥤
People always ask what I eat for breakfast.
Most mornings, it's this:
🥣 2 cups plain Bulgarian A2 yogurt
🥚 4 eggs
🍌 1 banana
🫐 1 cup blueberries
I throw it all in the blender and make a smoothie.
Why?
✅ Around 45–50 grams of high-quality protein to support muscle recovery and help keep me full.
✅ Live probiotics from Bulgarian yogurt to support gut health.
✅ Natural carbohydrates from the banana and blueberries for energy.
✅ Healthy fats and choline from the eggs to support brain and body function.
✅ Antioxidants from blueberries to help support recovery after training.
I believe that food should nourish your body—not just fill your stomach.
There are no fancy powders or gimmicks here. Just real foods that provide protein, healthy fats, probiotics, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in one quick meal.
Your body is your greatest investment. The choices you make today determine how you'll feel, move, and perform tomorrow.
Alleviate Pain. Restore Function. Optimize Health.
Note: If you're making a smoothie with raw eggs, use pasteurized eggs to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.

This 4th of July feels different.
As America celebrates 250 years, I find myself thinking about what this country has meant to me personally.
I have been fortunate to live in and visit countries all over the world. There are beautiful places, amazing cultures, and incredible people everywhere. I love traveling, seeing the world, and learning from it.
But no matter where I go, there is always a feeling I get when the trip is ending. A sense of relief. A sense of gratitude. A sense of peace knowing that I am coming back home.
Back to Texas.
Back to America.
Many of you know my story. I immigrated from Canada in 1998 for school, and I have been here ever since. I came here with goals, ambition, and the belief that if I worked hard enough, stayed persistent, and kept pushing through obstacles, I could build a life.
And America gave me that chance.
This country has rewarded my hard work. It has given me the opportunity to get educated, build a career, open a practice, serve patients, teach, raise a family, and create a life that I am truly grateful for.
That is something Americans should never take for granted.
There is an American Dream. It is real. It may not be easy. It may not come quickly. It may test you, humble you, and force you to pivot over and over again. But in this country, hard work still matters. Persistence still matters. Taking risks still matters. Overcoming obstacles still matters.
In many places around the world, no matter how hard you work, your ceiling is already set for you. Your future can be limited by where you were born, who you know, what class you come from, or what the system allows.
America is different.
Here, you can come with very little and build something meaningful. You can fail and start again. You can be counted out and still rise. You can take the shot, miss, learn, and take it again.
That is what I love about this country.
America is not perfect. No country is. But the opportunity here is different. The spirit here is different. The belief that tomorrow can be better if you are willing to work for it is different.
On this 250th anniversary of our independence, I am grateful.
Grateful for the freedom.
Grateful for the opportunity.
Grateful for the people who sacrificed to protect it.
Grateful to raise my children here.
Grateful to call Texas home.
Grateful that my hard work, persistence, and contributions have been met with opportunity.
Happy 4th of July. 🇺🇸
God bless our families, God bless Texas, and God bless the United States of America.
“The Pivot”
How many times have you had to pivot in business? Or even in life?
As entrepreneurs, parents, professionals, and human beings, we all start with a plan. Then life happens.
Markets change. Opportunities appear. Challenges arise. Doors close. New doors open.
The key isn’t avoiding the pivot. The key is learning how to pivot while maintaining forward momentum.
Some of the greatest successes I’ve experienced came from plans that didn’t work out the way I expected. What felt like obstacles at the time often became opportunities in disguise.
Stay committed to the vision, but be flexible with the path.
The destination may remain the same, but the route rarely does.
Keep moving forward. Adjust when necessary. Learn from the obstacles. Trust the process.
A pivot isn’t failure.
A pivot is adaptation.
And adaptation is often where growth begins.
“Life rewards those who can adjust without giving up.”
As a Jew who supports Israel’s right to exist and defend itself, I find this rhetoric deeply troubling. We should be fighting terrorists, not speaking about entire populations as if they deserve collective suffering. Every innocent mother Israeli, Lebanese, Palestinian, or otherwise deserves empathy, not threats. Statements like this do not strengthen Israel’s moral position; they weaken it.
Fatty Liver Disease Is Quietly Becoming One of America’s Biggest Health Problems
Why Millions of Americans May Have Liver Disease Without Even Knowing It
By Dr. Yaron Lohr | Founder of Posture Perfect Wellness Center
Most people think liver disease only happens to alcoholics.
That is no longer true.
Today, one of the fastest-growing health conditions in America is something called fatty liver disease — now commonly referred to as MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease).
And the scary part?
Most people have absolutely no idea they have it.
Current research estimates that roughly 30–38% of American adults may already have fatty liver disease. That means nearly 1 out of every 3 people walking around right now could have fat accumulating inside their liver.
In many cases, there are no symptoms early on.
No warning signs.
No obvious pain.
No major red flags.
Until the body finally starts breaking down.
What Is Fatty Liver Disease?
Fatty liver disease occurs when excess fat accumulates inside liver cells.
Your liver is one of the most important organs in the body. It helps regulate:
blood sugar
hormones
detoxification
inflammation
cholesterol
metabolism
digestion
nutrient processing
energy balance
When the liver becomes overloaded with fat and inflammation, the entire system can begin to malfunction.
Over time, fatty liver can progress into:
chronic inflammation
fibrosis (scar tissue)
cirrhosis
liver failure
increased cardiovascular risk
insulin resistance
metabolic syndrome
increased cancer risk
And many people develop this long before they ever realize something is wrong.
Why Is This Happening?
The modern lifestyle is creating the perfect storm.
Many Americans are living in a constant state of:
high sugar intake
ultra-processed foods
chronic stress
poor sleep
sedentary lifestyles
insulin resistance
chronic inflammation
The liver is forced to constantly process excessive calories, sugars, seed oils, alcohol, medications, toxins, and inflammatory foods.
Eventually, the system becomes overwhelmed.
One of the biggest drivers appears to be metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance.
This is why fatty liver disease is so strongly associated with:
obesity
prediabetes
Type 2 diabetes
elevated triglycerides
abdominal fat
poor dietary habits
In fact, studies suggest more than half of patients with Type 2 diabetes may already have fatty liver disease.
The Dangerous Part: Many “Healthy” People Still Have It
One of the biggest misconceptions is that fatty liver only affects severely overweight people.
That is not always true.
We now see fatty liver in:
athletes
normal-weight individuals
teenagers
children
active adults
people with “normal” basic bloodwork
A person may look relatively healthy on the outside while significant inflammation is occurring internally.
This is why proper evaluation matters.
Signs That MAY Suggest Metabolic Dysfunction
Some people with fatty liver experience symptoms such as:
chronic fatigue
brain fog
abdominal fullness
poor energy
difficulty losing weight
elevated liver enzymes
high triglycerides
insulin resistance
increased waist circumference
But many people have none of these.
Which is why prevention matters more than waiting for symptoms.
What Can People Do?
The good news is that fatty liver disease is often highly responsive to lifestyle changes — especially early on.
Many patients improve dramatically by focusing on:
1. Reducing Processed Foods
Excess sugar, refined carbohydrates, and ultra-processed foods can place enormous strain on the liver.
2. Improving Body Composition
Reducing visceral fat around the abdomen can significantly improve metabolic health.
3. Strength Training and Movement
Exercise improves insulin sensitivity and helps the body utilize glucose more effectively.
4. Improving Sleep
Poor sleep directly impacts hormones, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, and recovery.
5. Evaluating Blood Chemistry
Functional bloodwork and metabolic markers may help identify early warning signs before major disease develops.
6. Reducing Chronic Inflammation
Nutrition, movement, stress management, hydration, and proper recovery all matter.
The Bigger Conversation America Needs To Have
Fatty liver disease is not just a liver problem.
It is often a reflection of metabolic dysfunction throughout the entire body.
And unfortunately, many people are living in a state of chronic inflammation and physiologic overload without realizing it.
This is why proactive healthcare matters.
Not just treating disease once it becomes severe…
but understanding the body early enough to prevent dysfunction from progressing.
At Posture Perfect Wellness Center, our philosophy has always been:
Alleviate Pain. Restore Function. Optimize Health.
That means looking at the entire person — not just isolated symptoms.
Because true wellness is not simply the absence of disease.
It is creating an environment where the body can function the way it was designed to.
This is hard to square. You’ve consistently warned that Iran posed a serious threat to Americans and Western interests and people listened. That credibility matters.
Given Iran’s long track record of proxy warfare and hostility, your statement that there was ‘no imminent threat’ represents a significant shift, not a nuance.
So what changed - the underlying intelligence, or your standard for action? Because those lead to very different conclusions.
@LauraLoomer The same goes for anyone with a large platform. Influencers on all sides should recognize that words matter and can influence people in ways we may not intend.
Candace, this claim makes no historical or theological sense.
1.Judaism explicitly condemns Baal worship.
The Hebrew Bible repeatedly describes Baal worship as idolatry and a betrayal of God (see 1 Kings 18, Hosea, Judges).
2.The entire Jewish religious tradition is built on strict monotheism the worship of one God (YHWH).
Ancient Baal worship was practiced by Canaanites, and the Israelites were warned constantly not to follow it.
3.Saying Jews or Israel “worship Baal” reverses the actual history.
Jewish scripture literally records prophets fighting against Baal worship.
Criticizing governments or war policies is legitimate.
But rewriting basic religious history only spreads misinformation.
