@hotelscomhelp I booked a hotel and you charged me twice, refunded once. The venue then also charged me. You won't refund me because you've already got records of refunding me so now I've paid twice. I have gone round and round in support multiple times but still get told no.
@Hypochondridoc@Dr_DeanS@timricketts_ Well night people don't have to stay. They wouldn't be attending the lunch time teaching anyway.
Post-handover teaching is superior in every way.
@iDrSunny @IncogAssociate @LittlePersonDoc Ah yes, unit-specific knowledge that an "experienced" PA can teach. Such knowledge should be covered in an induction.
I wanted to make 2 points at the #RCPEGM (sadly ran out of time) to consider for those voting.
My declarations: I work at a DGH that does not employ PAs,
I am a @RCPhysicians elected councillor, chair of the colorectal section @BritSocGastro & a member of @TheBMA

@Ramb0Number5 @SteveBarclay Everyone with savings switching to MPS makes me sad. Their quote was more expensive for me. Paying about £650 as a registrar (in training)
So @SteveBarclay asks @thetimes- You have 6 fig salaries why are cons. striking?
- Per article, median salary £126k
- Had they looked was £119,200 in '09👇
- That's worth £180,804 in May 2023 (CPI)
- Destruction of pay 2009-23 is *MUCH* worse in the NHS
RT for #PayRestoration
@DamianLBradley@jabberwock951 Usually we'll eat together and then I'll try and rotate 1 hour breaks for everyone.
I know not everyone does this, but I think it needs planning.
Nurses will plan their breaks and (usually) get them.
@DamianLBradley@jabberwock951 People don't "get their breaks" because of the matyr complex within the NHS.
I can always find things to do in the middle of the night. There's always another patient waiting in A&E.
As a registrar, I'll try to ensure my colleagues take breaks
1/ VITAL🧵 So people have had a couple of days to digest the DDRBs "independent" reports & their imposition by governemnt.
TLDR;they represent further MASSIVE pay cuts.
Lets start with some history and look at what happened BEFORE the current high inflation
Pls read all/RT
@EmergencyBod@pepemac27 The follow up was them when they realised they've (probably) been underpaying every doctor since Feb 2020. That's approx 3.5 weeks of pay for every 2016 TCS post they have
