Bantawala Railway Station Enters a New Era!

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Redeveloped Bantawala Railway Station through video conferencing under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Redeveloped at a cost of ₹26.18 crore, the station now offers modern passenger amenities, improved accessibility, expanded platform shelters, dedicated parking, Wi-Fi, a lift, and Divyangjan-friendly facilities, providing a safer and more comfortable travel experience.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hon'ble MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta, MLC Shri Kishore Kumar Boteyadi, former Minister Shri B. Nagaraj Shetty, former MLAs Smt. Rukshmayi Poojary and Shri Padmanabha Kottary, Padma Shri awardee Shri Harekala Hajabba, Shri Amai Mahalinga Naik, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru Division, Shri Mudit Mittal, and Senior Divisional Engineer (Gati Shakti), Shri Anand Bharati, along with other dignitaries and railway officials.

​ಅಮೃತ್ ಭಾರತ್ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಪುನರಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾದ ಬಂಟವಾಳ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರು ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

​₹26.18 ಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ನವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಈಗ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು, ಸುಲಭ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು, ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಮೇಲ್ಛಾವಣಿಗಳು, ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಪಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್, ವೈ-ಫೈ, ಲಿಫ್ಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ದಿವ್ಯಾಂಗಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆರಾಮದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿದೆ.
