Well said. Our roads and vehicles have improved but not our road safety discipline. High time we respect the law not for the sake of Police or Fine but because we value our lives and also of others.
While travelling from Pune to Mumbai today, I had an awful experience on the highway when vehicle GJ13CF5257 rammed into my car from the side due to reckless driving. Thankfully, everyone is safe.
Incidents like these are a serious reminder that overspeeding and negligence on our roads can put countless lives at risk. I urge everyone to wear seat belts, remain alert, and drive responsibly so that our highways are safer for all.
International Day for Monuments and Sites, also known as World Heritage Day is observed on April 18. It highlights the theme “Emergency Response for Living Heritage in Contexts of Conflicts and Disasters.”
The day underscores the need to protect cultural heritage and reminds us of our collective responsibility to preserve and carry forward our rich cultural legacy for future generations.

AI 2512 DEL to BLR today. Landing was extraordinary. Kudos to the well trained Pilot. AIr India landing quality outbeats most budget airlines. Keep it up AI. Raise the benchmark. May all others too strive making Air travel in India not only convenient but safe and enjoyable too.
SpiceJet’s shock treatment or survival strategy-
My BLR Kolkata ticket allowed free 15 kgs checkin and 7 kgs cabin bag. Being a PhD student I was carrying a bag with books of permissive limit of cabin bag size of 115 cm and a laptop bag. I did not checkin the bag, thinking size is within limits and I could afford to carry the books without damage. At the boarding gate SpicJet staff coerced me to pay Rs 6500 for 10 kgs including laptop bag as Xs baggage despite being apprised and aware of non utilisation of free checkin bag allowance of 15 kgs. My request for taking it as checkin as all other domestic airlines in India do was also rudely refused. No education or notice is provided at the airport by the airline for its unique norms and behaviour. My complaint on AIRSEWA vide ID : FH788687 (SpiceJet - Baggage) for refund of the charge is still awaiting positive response. Beware of the New ways for the Airline to survive. Privileged to listen to a talk today by Dr MR Rajagopal and Shri SM Vijayanand about the evolution of Kerala's palliative care policy. It's not only about leaving no one behind, but about giving every person the care they need where they are.
This time, they were lucky. Accidents are unpredictable. Please wear full face legal helmets and do not forget to BUCKLE them🙏🏼 https://t.co/v1kyBbHSP5
