We co-hosted a research session with the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health & Development on microbiological, economic, legal, social, data science aspects of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In this session, the multidisciplinary teams co-developed initial AMR research ideas.

As we continue sharing findings in Mbarara, Soroti, Mbale, Gulu, Jinja, Arua, Lira, Kabale, and Masaka RRHs, health care workers are reminded of their roles in combating AMR. Continued AMR surveillance and clear data records are essential to informing effective strategies.
Our @CAMO_Net1 team is visiting 9 Regional Referral Hospitals in Uganda, sharing results on antibiotic use trends & the economic burden of AMR in RRH. Our presentations to health workers sparked discussions on regulating over-the-counter access to antibiotics.
