BIGGER THAN PARTY

The challenges facing our communities are bigger than political parties, personalities, elections, and partisan loyalty.

At the heart of ethical leadership is a much deeper question:

What responsibility do we have toward one another?

The story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37 offers a powerful framework for public leadership, community responsibility, and service.

The Samaritan did five things:

He saw the need.
He accepted responsibility.
He acted compassionately, lawfully, and effectively.
He coordinated with others when the need exceeded what he could personally provide.
He followed through.

That is leadership.

And that principle reaches far beyond individual charity.

Government has responsibilities.

The Church has responsibilities.

Nonprofit organizations have responsibilities.

Community leaders have responsibilities.

Businesses and institutions have responsibilities.

And citizens have responsibilities toward one another.

When responsibility is shared, it must never become nobody’s responsibility.

We need a public culture that values:

Truth above tribalism.
Character above popularity.
Service above self-interest.
Responsibility above loyalty.
Strong communities are not rebuilt through political slogans alone. They are rebuilt through ethical leadership, collaborative governance, public trust, accountability, justice, integrity, humility, stewardship, compassion, and service.
We must strengthen partnerships between government, churches, nonprofits, community organizations, families, and citizens so that vulnerable people are not abandoned between institutions.
Leadership should not merely ask:

“Who is responsible for this?”

Leadership must also ask:

“What is my responsibility, and who must I work with to solve it?”

That is the heart of mutual aid.

That is collaborative governance.

That is servant leadership.

And that is what the law of love demands of us.

Responsibility is bigger than party.
Justice is bigger than party.
Truth is bigger than party.
Godly leadership is bigger than party.

This conversation is not about choosing a political team.

It is about rebuilding a culture of responsibility.

It is about restoring trust.
It is about protecting the vulnerable.
It is about demanding accountability from institutions while also recognizing the responsibility each of us carries toward our neighbor.
Because ultimately, leadership is not merely about holding authority.

Leadership is stewardship.

⚠️ A MESSAGE TO ALL LEADERS—and to those who continue to rebel against God.

When Obedience Becomes Optional: What Saul’s Fall Teaches Us About Leadership, Rebellion, and the Cost of Rejecting God’s Voice

1 Samuel 15 gives us one of the strongest warnings about leadership in Scripture.

Saul received clear instructions from God, but he chose partial obedience. When Samuel confronted him, Saul tried to explain his choices through sacrifice, good intentions, and the influence of the people.

But Samuel answered:

“To obey is better than sacrifice.” —1 Samuel 15:22

This message is bigger than Saul.

It asks every leader, and every believer:

Have we obeyed God, or have we found spiritual language to justify doing things our own way?

Titles do not replace obedience.
Platforms do not replace obedience.
Ministry does not replace obedience.
Success does not replace obedience.
Sacrifice does not replace obedience.
Godly leadership requires humility, accountability, and submission to God.

She and her mother are xenophobic! There’s a video which she was facing the female Jamaican sprinters and her mother was very disparaging. That’s learned behavior. She thinks little of Caribbean sprinters. Sha’carri Richardson learned the hard way. Her career was never the same. The tongue defiles the body. How could she not know? He’s the fasted man ever and no one will ever top that. That’s her field si his could she big know? It’s because of what as who she prioritized in her mind. She’s xenophobic. It’s a pattern. Now she has to hold that mirror up. She has to unlearn this one.
