I like working with teenage athletes because I can give them “Snapchat exercises” - exercises relatively simply that they can do while talking with friends via Snapchat. Not sure why that brings me so much joy but it does.
I’m afraid to put out content of how I helped someone. Especially with regards to low back pain because mostly what helps one person may hurt the next.
The reason productivity doesn’t motivate staff is that it’s just a metric to lower overhead/operating expenses. It has nothing to do with how well they complete their job.
If you aren’t letting people determine what you can or can’t do based on the info on your ID, then why are you letting medical professionals determine your activities based on an image.
Urgent-Important paradox: Just because you forgot something important does not mean I will rearrange my priority tasks to handle something urgently for you.
I’m deeply saddened every time I hear someone say they are choosing to eliminate activities that used to bring them joy all because of an imaging finding.
The issue with the healthcare system is that everything is gate-keeped. No wonder prices are high, motivation is low, and no one knows why things happen the way they do.
Words matter. But only in the right context. You don’t want to hear the fancy words about the restaurant’s specials. You just want to hear what’s good.
