So last night an elderly gentleman I saw in A&E told me I was “well suited to be a doctor” and put his hand on my shoulder and he went on his merry way and I went to the toilets to cry 😂
New year, new job. Same wonderful team.
Honoured to be stepping up at @PHU_NHS in an ED that’s supported me professionally and personally through thick and thin.
Hope I can be useful.

My boyfriend threw out the packaging for our turkey crown. The packaging with the cooking instructions on it. Because I am a generous and mature person I said “never mind, I should have said.” And HE SAID “yes you should have really”.
And that’s what happened your honour.
The most heart warming act of compassion I witnessed today - this little lady was chatting away to the builder walking out of the main entrance at PHU, she became a little unsteady, so he offered an arm with the cutest conversation between them #compassion@PHU_NHS
Tomorrow, junior doctors will strike. A full 72 hr walkout

The decision wasn’t easy.
However, it is the RIGHT one.
Let us unite.
Thats what she remembers.
Because the jam sandwich represents a moment of kindness
A moment where, in and amongst a busy ward full of sick patients, she felt seen.
With every patient encounter, remember Emma.
Kindness matters.

This year's Men's Football World Cup is in Qatar – a country where LGBTQ+ people are criminalised and persecuted simply for being themselves.
I've just joined @stonewalluk's #ProudStadium to stand with the LGBTQ+ community in Qatar. Show your support: https://t.co/beYAWfGgKC
