@united Yeah I’ll be sure to do that as soon as I stop getting flown to various Asian countries that are not my destination. Update: routed through Seoul and missed yet another connection because the “cargo loader” didn’t work right. Maybe @Asiana airlines will get me to where I’m going.
@united Flight to SFO delayed because a single flight attendant was waiting an hour to get off a flight and didn’t have a gate at EWR. Waited an hour on the tarmac at SFO just in time to watch the door close for flight to SIN. Bags made it. This is abusive. Shameful.
Did the sugar substitute color coded packet scheme happen by some kind of regulatory edict or through a mutually beneficial capitalistic unspoken agreement among Big Sugar? If it’s the latter, I find that amazing.

To celebrate Sleep Awareness Week, @DrMDSleep joined the Avadel team to discuss the importance of sleep in maintaining overall health and well-being and how to “Sleep for Success”. Dr. Davis is board certified sleep physician and neurologist.
@dianermacedo@SleepFixMethod Maybe unpopular opinion: this is enormously silly (but admittedly creative). Too many variables. But anything that gets people in the door and to take sleep issues seriously, l’ll go with.
@SleepJunkies This is a fair point and really interesting data. But there’s a big difference between using these devices in a targeted population for diagnostic purposes and mass sleep tracking in people already anxious about their sleep. Dilemma will be how we thread that needle.
Middle-age hits different. New Year’s Day breakfast conversation is no longer about misbegotten youthful antics, but mostly now about friends’ sleep ailments. Always happy to help. #sleep#sleephealth#insomnia#medical#sleeppeeps#sleephygiene https://t.co/ihXxffU5xl
@elonmusk@StephenKing It’s actually really good. Tried so many others over so many years and it really is the best. But whenever I’m asked what pillow is best (and I’m asked that near daily — I’m an expert!) I always say to do what works for you. A real personal preference thing.
Turkey and tryptophan — my take on the question of sleepiness during thanksgiving. My theory on the dog show is not peer reviewed and purely anecdotal. #sleep#sleeppeeps#MedTwitter#Thanksgiving2022 https://t.co/KX2ArARsNS
Hey @AASMorg shouldn’t we change “idiopathic hypersomnia” to “essential hypersomnia” (in the same vein as essential tremor and essential HTN). Sure it’s trading one weird medical word for another but at least it’s closer to accurate. #sleeppeeps#hypersomnia#narcolepsy#sleep
Sometimes all it takes is telling a patient, “Ya know, you don’t HAVE to get 8 hours of sleep.” And suddenly they sleep better. The culture’s interest in sleep is great, but being TOO invested can have negative effects. #sleep#insomnia#sleeppeeps
@drchriswinter This was #1 on my list of things I wouldn’t do as a sleep specialist in a tiktok I just made. I may have claimed it was bad without evidence, but it just seems so silly.
Never thought I’d be jumping on tiktok trends, but here we are. Precautionary note: I think I angered the pet co-sleepers. You do you! If it’s working, then you’re good. #insomnia#sleeppeeps#MedTwitter https://t.co/LjJvNBfSKK
@AASMorg “The adult pacifier” I like to say. We need to get off our pedestal and understand that certain types of self-soothing might outweigh our academic ideals - and actually be ok.
