Orthopaedics is carpentry that went to medical school.
Those hammers are not a glitch in the video. Bone does not care about your gentle energy.
Sometimes you need to cut it, drill it, hammer it and fix it until the implant sits exactly where it needs to sit.
The engineers of medicine.
Everyone else leaves their tools in theatre. These ones could hang theirs in a garage and nobody would ask questions.😂
Honestly , waking up tired everyday is your body basically saying “ we need to talk .”😭
It isn’t always about how manny hours you slept either . Sleep quality , stress , sleep apnea , medications , lifestyle and a few medical conditions can all play a role .
If it’s happening every single day , it’s worth figuring out why than just accepting it .

What if your LATE-NIGHT MEALS are affecting more than your calorie count? 👀
A small 2026 study found that stopping food 3 hours before bed and extending the overnight fast improved nighttime blood pressure, heart rate and daytime glucose control , without reducing calories.
Interesting signal, but it’s still a small study.
Maybe when you eat matters too , not just how much. #health #HealthyEating
Yes , that’s the interesting part .
If calories stayed the same , yet metabolic markers still improved, it suggests meal timing may matter independently of total energy intake .
Still a small study , so I’d call a promising signal rather than a verdict .
But definitely makes the “calories are all that matter ” conversation little more interesting. 😅

B. Vitamin C.
And scurvy isn’t just “ bleeding gums ”
Poor wound healing , fatigue , bruising and corkscrew hairs can show up too.
Crazy how one vitamin deficiency can make the connective tissue fall apart.
@Madihealth2026 😊The interesting part is why : vitamin C is needed for collagen synthesis , so deficiency eventually shows up in tissues that rely heavily on collagen.
One vitamin. A surprisingly dramatic consequence.

The weather can absolutely affect your mood . But “thats all “ is where I’d be careful 👀
Less sunlight , disrupted sleep , staying indoors and changes in routine can all affect how you feel.
And if the low mood sticks around for a while . It’s worth being kind to yourself and checking in on how you’re doing rather than assuming it’s just the weather.
Sometimes a gloomy day is just a gloomy day . Sometimes we need little extra support too . ❤️

@ktknkokodayo 😂Muslce training is basically giving your muscles a reason to get stronger.
You give them resistance , the adapt , then you gradually make it harder.
Basically, you keep making the muscle work harder until it has no choice but to level up.😭

One of the biggest mistakes you can make as you age?
Stop using your muscles.
Getting older doesn’t automatically mean losing all your muscle. But when you stop challenging them, your body has less reason to maintain them.
Resistance training helps preserve muscle mass, strength and physical function as you age.
You don’t have to lift every day.
Just keep giving your muscles a reason to stay.
@yod_blog Honestly , money can remove a lot of stressors that make mental health harder.
Food . Housing . Bills . Safety. Access to treatement.
But I wouldn’t call it the greatest mental stabilizer
Money can buy stability. It can’t guarantee peace of mind.

@avyloveyou Absolutely 🙏🏾
Pray for good health, but don’t forget to do the right things that protect it too .
Regular check-ups, good sleep , movement, decent nutrition and knowing when to seek help.
Faith and taking care of yourself don’t have to be opposites.

He really completed an entire cancer journey as a side quest 😭
But this is actually why prostate cancer can be so sneaky. A lot of prostate cancers arise in the peripheral zone, away from the urethra.
So the tumour can grow without initially obstructing urine flow or causing noticeable symptoms.
The cancer can literally be there while everything still feels normal.
@CarynLeigh58761 It really is.
And that’s the frustrating part , poor sleep can make the things that help sleep harder to do .
You’re tired, stressed , hungrier, less motivated to exercise , and suddenly your whole routine is out of sync.
Sleep problems can become a vicious cycle.
Poor sleep doesn’t only make you tired the next day.
It can also alter appetite regulation, increase cravings for energy-dense foods and make weight control harder.
Then people blame themselves for “lacking discipline”.
Sometimes the first nutrition intervention is not another supplement.
It’s fixing the sleep problem that keeps driving the hunger.
😂Tight shoes can make ankles look swollen.
But edema isn’t automatically kidney failure , heart failure or liver disease. There are plenty of other causes , including venous insufficiency, medications and simply local pressure
Let’s not diagnose a man from his footwear.😭

A late-stage trial lowered lipoprotein(a) but did not reduce heart attacks, strokes or cardiovascular death.
That is a sharp clinical lesson: changing a biomarker is not the same as improving patient outcomes.

This is the part people often miss in medicine:
a biomarker can improve without the patient actually having fewer heart attacks or strokes.
Lowering the number is encouraging.
Proving that it changes outcomes is the real test. #Medicine#health

Yeah , I can understand why you’d make that connection, especially if her symptoms improved after stopping.
But ongoing difficulty with stairs deserves a proper assessment rather than assuming the statin is definitely the cause .
Either way, I wouldn’t dimiss what she exprienced.
When you’re constantly switching between TikTok, X, messages, music and notifications, your brain keeps getting tiny bursts of novelty.
Then you try to sit quietly for 10 minutes and suddenly:
“WHY IS THIS SO UNCOMFORTABLE?”
Nothing is wrong with your brain.
It’s just accustomed to stimulation.
Boredom can actually give your attention a chance to settle without another new thing demanding it.
So sometimes the most useful thing you can do for your attention isn’t another productivity hack.
It’s letting your brain be bored.

@CovidC76105@drjasonfung Yeah, years is a long time to be dealing with that .
If the symptoms started after statin and settled when she stopped , i can understand why she’d frustrated.
Severe persistent symptoms deserved proper assessment.
