Redbulls preseason flow viz photos showed that the undercut area was producing a large strong vortex heading to the rear brake duct area. Merc might be doing the same.

@brrrake @F1Miles The active aero will be weird. The chassis side of things has a lot of time to mature though. Ditching the MGU-H is pretty stupid. It’s going to be a battle of who can balance electrical energy recovery and deployment. The cars will be power limited.
