@DalalSci To give them experience. I worked in a lab as an undergraduate. I got invaluable experience that I took with me to graduate school. As a grad student and a post doc I worked with undergrads, teaching them new skills.
@ashishkjha Nope. People won’t mask, people won’t test/test inaccurately/can’t afford good testing, and employers won’t give time off from work. Use your influence to encourage our president to make federal sick leave a policy.
@NohaAboelataMD But that’s the thing. It’s a recommendation not a requirement. And for kids that remove masks to eat or drink then it’s really messed up.
@MamaWeasleyy The scavenger hunt is awful, plus privatizing it to health insurance slowed it down too. If I was able to get my kid the new vaccine maybe he could’ve avoided getting covid, again.
@JeromeAdamsMD California has had free breakfast and lunch for students for a couple years now. Worked out well for my son a week or so ago when he forgot his lunch in my car.
@ProdigyGame I teach science in a Title 1 school. Over 90% of my students receive free lunches. Any little bit from my list will help my students tremendously. I’ve been at my school for 12 years and have always purchased these little extras myself.
