Today, 21 December, is the shortest day and the longest night of the year (we only had 7 hours and 49 minutes of daylight today).

@drheidiphillips@mellojonny@DrLindaDykes Yes. Most unease comes when colleagues talk about this as the new normal. And those suffering most are our vulnerable patients and learners.
@DrJanaFunke But aren’t we all here to support our colleagues? For what circumstances in a colleague’s life would it feel acceptable to “pick up the slack?” Or have “the slack” picked up for us, in turn?
