I'm now a shareholder in @smarterwebuk inspired by the launch of the Bitcoin backed Pref and also having spoken to @asjwebley over the weekend and hearing his thoughts on what I understand as the Bitcoin Backed Digital Credit model for 2026 and beyond.
I want to see SWC - a British company - dominate.

@nimacheeps@Trading212 Hopefully they’ll list them after the IPO. They wouldn’t list the Strategy prefs (except STRC) or SATA despite several requests. Must be a liquidity thing
@AdamBLiv If MSTR hits $1000, STRK should be trading way higher than that given the convert option surely Adam? Then MSTR-like performance beyond that?
@alphafortuna10@AdamBLiv@ZynxBTC This is a good thing at these prices. $STRC keeps the lid on $STRK price by keeping it’s yield high. But once MSTR runs up in the future, the convert feature has to bring the $STRK price up. You’re just being paid generously to wait, with relatively little downside from here.
@2147mill Both of course. BTC is savings, MSTR is investment.
However thanks to our wonderful regulators, we can only use the leveraged foreign stock, for our protection of course.
@DeltaSierra4@2147mill Maybe I’m overly cynical and I appreciate I’m coming at this from a very privileged position. We can certainly agree that for the majority SIPPs are fantastic, but for many circumstances ISAs may be better
@DeltaSierra4@2147mill Suppose my main point is you’re at the mercy of Rachel from Accounts or whoever it is at the time. Harder for them to make changes to ISAs and any changes would be prospective. Whereas SIPP money is held hostage and you’re chasing a moving pension age
@DeltaSierra4@2147mill Nearer 20%(?) but you’re assuming:
-It’s your only pension (no workplace or public sector scheme)
-Can still take 25% tax free when the time comes
-No AA charges
-No LTA reintroduction
