@IMAROOSTAR@terryrea56 He played in that game late last year at commbank against Parra where we were absolutely atrocious and got smashed. It wasn’t a great club debut
@bondiroosters There is at least 2-3 shifts that could make this backline slightly better but I fear all of them still lead to Egan playing in the centres
@Swandog90@Matthew_E91 Yeah the only reason they wouldn’t play Hugo there is because we don’t have anyone else to cover centre otherwise of course he’d def slot in the halves
Thoughts;
-Left a lot of points out there but nice to have a mostly stress free game for once
-Turns out having a winger on the wing makes a big difference. Who knew!
-Give Naf whatever he wants, whenever he wants it
-Still think halves have a lot of work 2 do but an improvement
@AJLucantonio@DCarlin21 Tbf he got asked if he’d consider making changes in that presser & he said no. If it was me I’d be dropping Lindsay but not if ppl like Egan play more mins. Foketi should get more tho. Other than that, until we get our wingers back, I don’t see our attack getting that much better
If I was the Roosters, I’d be looking at the last two games and doing whatever it takes to get Tupou to sign for one more year. We cannot afford for him to not be there. I hope we sign Taulagi but even if we do, we need Tupou on the other side. We are a different team without him
@ConPaffas I knew it would be different without them but I didn’t realise how stifled our attack would be. If we lose Toops and don’t sign Taulagi it’s a genuine disaster for us next year
@AJLucantonio Sorry mate but Billy is not a winger, he’s a good defender and obviously at his peak he can break a tackle in the centres with ease, but as a winger he stifles our attack, especially with Savala next to him and the speed of them both combined
