This is a great question to refresh and revise what I have learned over the years from my ex-colleagues especially @inyaki_mwc & @jperezalv
I'll try to summarize what usual suspects I can recall in the 🧵
#AndroidDev folks, I have two single module Android apps, both commercial software and similar size in terms of LOC. Both have Java and Kotlin source code, but one takes 3-4x time to build compared to the other. What could be the reasons?
Excited to have @tsmith, @DJRooz, @droidchef, Jesse Wilson, & Kiki Chang— a panel of #Android experts—discussing #MobileDev productivity, tooling, AI, & remote development for large-scale #mobileapps. Topics include #IDE plugins, CI/CD, measuring productivity, & balancing speed with quality at #dcnyc24 👏

@donnfelker@arkann1985 I feel the reason may not be that the author wants to make money here but that articles that are not monetized, don’t get recommended as much within Medium’s ecosystem so your reads/views go down.
Just like on Youtube monetised videos get boosted by the algorithm. 💭
@rivuchakraborty@championswimmer@sunnykgupta@Amitsamal01@jiten@PracSharma There is no problem for anyone to be hands on, but having expectation from a Director or even a Senior Manager to be hands on, smells like an inflated title or misaligned job responsibilties.
I think you’re conflating being technical with being hands on.
@sahildua2305@donnfelker@kaushikgopal ❤️Thanks and look how the tables have turned. 🤭
What used to be a consistent topic for a rant has now become daily preaching! 😂
Elated to see this podcast out, finally! 🤩
Ever so grateful to @donnfelker and @kaushikgopal for having me on their show and talk about A/B Testing and Feature Flags.
I wish we had more time because there is so much more to explore around this topic! 😅

@donnfelker @PreusslerBerlin This actually sounds amazing to me! I am very curious to know why this is wrong? @PreusslerBerlin Do you actually have data to back your claim 🤔
Maybe attending @ronnyk 's master class would change your mind? or reading @endesignonline's upcoming book would 😁
This week on @fragmentedcast, @kaushikgopal and I talk to @siggijons about the art of Android App Modularization.

Feature flag frameworks can help you quickly adapt to broken features, changing market conditions and more.
They also help you identify (with analytics) if a new feature/improvement/etc improves conversions.
@droidchef and I have had a lot of great conversations on this.
