Important:
Here’s something that a LOT of people don’t know about what’s actually going on with Delhi Police.
CJP’s Saurav Das & Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to 2 more days of judicial custody in Tihar Jail.
By a judicial court? NO.
They have been kept in Tihar Jail for the last 6 days on the order of a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM).
Who is an SEM? He is an ACP-rank (junior) police officer of Delhi Police appointed by the state govt.
Therefore, Delhi Police arrested Saurav & Ashutosh & now a Delhi Police ACP (acting as SEM) is keeping them in jail.
There’s no FIR against them. There’s also no judicial order.
Delhi Police are the accusers & well as the judge when it comes to keeping them in jail.
That’s how messed up it is.
#BREAKING "Why can't #SupremeCourt entertain Article 32 petition for breach of #FundamentalRights?" - Advocate argues before CJI Surya Kant's bench
The bench noted that the petitioner had not approached the High Court first under Article 226
Adv: If I am coming under Article 32, Supreme Court can't [shy]
J Bagchi: Breach of fundamental rights is an overlap in Articles 32 and 226. We would always love court of first instance to take cognizance of violation of fundamental rights
Adv: It's guaranteed that Supreme Court can't suspend the rights...fundamental rights
J Bagchi: You're right. Neither can HC
Adv: Why question of HC ? If Parliament decided both Article 32 and Article 226
J Bagchi: You have a fundamental duty to enforce those rights
Petition disposed of giving liberty to approach HC.
Kharge ji/@RahulGandhi ji .., pls go after court hours to minimise disruption to court work ... thousands of litigants get their day in court after months/years of waiting ... one lost day could mean loss of months for the next date ... in addition to loss of time, money and energy spent in attending court, appointing representation. Think about it.

Can't serve notices.
Can't hold virtual hearings.
Can't give a voter a copy of the order deleting them.
And: "Once the appeal is disposed of... it cannot be restored on the portal if the restoration is needed on account of direction of the judicial order or otherwise."
That's not a complaint from an election official on the ground. It's the minutes of a meeting of retired High Court judges, appointed on the Supreme Court's orders to hear 38 lakh SIR appeals in West Bengal, on the portal the Election Commission's IT division (headed by Seema Khanna) built for them.
Minutes dated August 11, sent to the EC and the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court.

Rauf saab, even a healthy body falls sick occasionally—it takes medicine and recovers. India’s institutions are far stronger than Pakistan’s, even when they are at their weakest. If self-correction is needed, Indians will take care of it. Aap Pakistan ki fikr karein. Awaam ka bahut bura haal hai.
In today’s world, misinformation often travels faster than fact
Hence I question everything
Get ur info from as many different quarters as possible. Read opposing views. Then draw ur own conclusions.
And be prepared to change them when better information comes along. That isn’t weakness. That’s intelligence.
We live in a narrative-led world, n those who control the narrative often get to write the first draft of history
Governments, media, corporations, institutions, influencers. Everyone has likely vested interests, undue pressures n latent biases
Blind faith in any of them seems increasingly naive.
So stay curious. Stay sceptical. Follow the logic n the evidence rather than the noise
Because fact is, that very little is ever quite as simple as it’s presented
Big shout out to Hon’ble Justice Dipankar Datta ! MiLord - I came to my constituency for a mtng informing @WBPolice & BJP workers with their help pelted eggs on me. True to your advice I faced them as a freedom fighter faced bullets.
