Josh Frydenberg asked, “How did they come here?”
Sajid Akram arrived under Howard.
He received a gun licence under Abbott.
His Aus born son was assessed and cleared by ASIO under Morrison, with Frydenberg in the Cabinet.
That’s the answer, Josh.

Amongst the political exploitation of Sunday's tragedy to attack @AlboMP has anyone suggested what measures the government could have taken which would have prevented two lone-wolf gunmen loosely affiliated with or inspired by Islamic State from undertaking their murderous spree?
Are people seriously arguing that restrictions on free speech, protest marching, and not diplomatically recognising Palestine, would have stopped the radicalisation of the perpetrators?
The bitter reality is that very little that could have been done to stop them. Every society, including the most peaceful and liberal, contain extremists and psychopaths. It is almost impossible to identify and stop them before they commit their appalling crimes.
So much facile ink is currently being spilled on commentary for base political motives, and so little serious and useful analysis is on offer.
John Howard pushed for the invasion of Iraq, which was one of the dominoes which created the conditions for ISIS and caused untold human misery we are still dealing with today. He refused to acknowledge racism was a main driver of the Cronulla riots.
John Howard made Australia a target for terrorism by illegally invading Iraq & contributing to the rise of ISIS who went on to radicalise the Bondi attackers. He should apologise to Jewish Australians, and all Australians. #auspol
John Howard on the ABC politicising the Bondi tragedy criticising the current PM. It should be remembered that after Port Arthur, Labor stood firm behind Howard at a time of national tragedy. Howard is a disgraceful mongrel.
What the media don’t tell you.
Bondi shooter Sajid Akram, came into this country under Howard, was given a gun licence under Abbott and his son was investigated by ASIO and cleared under Morrison.

@DavidWhite93507@babyangel_222@ChemistWhouse You don’t need to be “in court” to respect the outcome of one. A jury convicted him and the judge was scathing. Her actions in court scream victim blaming.
@LovelockEdward@Sahar_A_Writes Totally agree: Jo Silvagni glared across the room at the victim as the judge spoke. Says everything about their entitlement
@framer_x You didn’t run claymation tests, you ran prompts through an AI that mimics the look of clay. No puppets, no lights, no sweat. Don’t call it claymation if you’ve never touched clay.
