You could have the best video in the world but it doesn’t matter if nobody clicks on it. Work on your packaging. Thumbnails and titles.

Don’t clutter your thumbnails too much.

Eliminate as much empty space as you can. Utilize your thumbnail real estate.

Don’t add too much text but make sure the text is easy enough to read.

Get familiar Photoshop and use drop shadows, outer glows and strokes.

Try to make your thumbnails recognizable so they’re synonymous with your channel. Use the same colors, add a border, etc.

Keep your titles on the shorter side. The punchier you can be, the better. If you have access to A/B/C testing, use it.

This video isn’t my best ever in terms of AVD but it’s evergreen and it’ll keep earning for years.

The secret sauce for growth is CTR + AVD. The key to sustainability, and turning this into a career, is to build an evergreen library to pad your base revenue.

Mike McFarland, a voice actor from the English-dubbed versions of “One Piece” and “Dragon Ball Z,” has died following a battle with brain cancer. He was 56.

McFarland was a voice-acting veteran, first playing Master Roshi and Yajirobe in “Dragon Ball” and “Dragon Ball Z” and Buggy the Clown in “One Piece.” His other roles include Jean Kirstein in “Attack on Titan,” Jean Havoc in “Fullmetal Alchemist” and Teppei Sugo in “Psycho-Pass.”
