Day 5 Twitter Growth Challenge
Today I posted something a little different a post about the honeypot I’ve been working on.

The goal is to show more of what I’m actually building instead of only talking about it.
There were also 2 unfollows today, it happens. You can’t grow every single day.

But looking at the bigger picture, the results are still moving in the right direction. Over the last two weeks, my impressions have been steadily increasing, and now I’m at 5.2K impressions with 157 engagements.

Still a long way to go, but the progress is real.

I BUILT A HONEYPOT SERVER — AND IT’S ALREADY CAPTURING ATTACKS

I’ve built my own honeypot server to study automated attacks against exposed infrastructure.

It records incoming connections, authentication attempts, sessions, commands and attacker activity.

During testing, it already captured automated SSH activity. The attackers:

• authenticated with common credentials
• ran reconnaissance commands like whoami, id and uname -a
• checked the system and running processes
• downloaded a shell script with curl
• attempted to make it executable and run it
• terminated the session

The system also provides session-level logs and allows me to analyze the sequence of commands performed during each connection.

This project is helping me get deeper into Linux, networking, server security and attack forensics.

I’m continuing to improve the detection and logging capabilities.

This is only the beginning of my cybersecurity work.

Today I spent most of my time preparing some interesting content for the future.

@zachxbt is genuinely one of the people who inspires me to get deeper into cybersecurity and blockchain.

The guy has shown how powerful on-chain investigation can be - tracking funds, exposing scams and connecting the dots that most people simply don't see.

What I really like is that he doesn't just talk about security. He actually does the work.
Seeing this honestly makes me want to learn more about cybersecurity, blockchain analytics and on-chain investigation myself.

🚨 WARNING: BE CAREFUL WITH REVENUE FAMILY

I decided to take a closer look at @RevenueFamily after seeing the project appear seemingly out of nowhere with very promising claims and “easy” earnings.
The biggest red flag appeared when I tried to withdraw funds.

Instead of completing the withdrawal normally, users can reportedly be redirected to suspicious third-party websites. One of the pages is even flagged with a “Suspected Phishing” warning.

I’m not telling you to blindly trust my conclusion - do your own research. But until these issues are properly explained, I strongly recommend NOT connecting your wallet, entering personal information, or sending money to the project.

❗If you've already interacted with Revenue Family, check what permissions you granted and where you entered your wallet credentials.

Better to miss an opportunity than lose your funds.
