they appear to be looking for compensation, and the giveaway will be the account has a fake photo. They don’t follow or being followed by any sports card or Pokémon related accounts. Just be aware of it. #cardshows

Sports card promoter be aware of a scam where you’ll get a message from someone claiming they came to your show less than 2 hrs before it ends and drove 60+ miles and all the dealers were packed up. Obviously, they’re looking for money. #sportscards

@SportsCardInv @JunkWaxHero79 There’s a right and wrong way to go about it. We don’t charge parking or admission. We approach the person politely discuss it with them and 99% of the time they understand it’s a one percent that can be a problem with entitlement but you deal with it accordingly.

@Kn1ghtime @SportsCardInv @JunkWaxHero79 that may be true for other shows this show has been around for years and it’s known to be a flea market type show where people know they can get steals times have changed his show hasn’t there’s a lot of The there at his show too. I’ve had dealers call me about it.

@MrToppsCard @SportsCardInv @JunkWaxHero79 I know dealers will stop doing a show because you can’t buy as a dealer because by the time you get your card to the front door 3-4 people are asking if you’re selling dealers don’t care about making money to show they want to buy that’s why they stopped doing it

@SportsCardInv @JunkWaxHero79 I know about the show the promoter only cares about selling tables. In my opinion it is only source of income. He does two shows a month there and a lot of dealers have stopped doing his show.

@JunkWaxHero79 I would also ask it’s a culture down here in South Florida, where a lot of of the card shows the promoters only care about selling tables. I’ve literally gone to Shows in Boca where I’ve had to step over people selling on the floor just to get to the room.

This is absolutely the wrong way, but he’s getting frustrated because he only cares about selling tables and it’s his dealers who don’t want to do the show anymore because they don’t make money and they come to buy and cant

@RikIronjaw @VintageHobbyGuy it does have a point but the way he goes about it is idiotic. In my opinion we have the same role, but we handle it differently and a very polite with people because most of the times they don’t know and most of the time if not, 99% get it

@chrisweston417 @VintageHobbyGuy You haven’t been to that show they absolutely do a dealer leaves early and then the kids will take the table and put all their slabs on and start dealing as if they bought a table
