@kamurocho_raven @finestsoup They were. Most of the Arrowverse was, in fact. Don't forget Legends of Tomorrow, Stargirl or Superman & Lois, too. They were exactly what they needed to be, which is decent, reliable entertainment. I'd take those over the current trend of superhero streaming miniseries anytime.

Os filmes do Homem-Aranha do MCU em particular dão até raiva de tanto que o eles evitam qualquer chance interessante de criar drama.

@SeamOfDreams It was a significantly better period for DC shows back then. No hate on James Gunn, but most of his new DCU shows feel designed to not last very long, he's running into the same Marvel Studios problem of not knowing how to do proper television.

@nate_ilustra Eu até seria a favor de uma série do Jimmy se fosse em animação e episódica. Me parece uma escolha meio ruim gastar um monte de dinheiro com CGI do Grodd numa uma série de comédia estendendo um único conceito por 8 episódios, pra logo depois ser esquecida no mar do streaming.

@RichardJuice I haven't watched it yet, but I remember reading "bad movie" blogs a few years ago talking about how trashy it was, so I avoided it. But more recently I've seen it being described as the "closest a movie can get to being a Jack Kirby comic", and now I'm VERY interested.

If you like release order better, fine, but I don't think preserving the way people first experienced the plot in the 80s should be a real concern when introducing these films to new audiences.
