Recently, I was reminded why I chose medicine as a career. Physicians have the privilege of walking patients through some of the most vulnerable moments of their life. Taking care of Roger Altman was one of those profound honors and I was very touched by his kind comments on Squawk Box during a reunion organized by its superb host Joe Kernan. Moments like these remind us that behind every headline, every career, and every accomplishment, are human connections that truly matter.
There's no better public servant for the job than @ScottBradyPA. He fought against fraudsters as a U.S. Attorney and he'll ensure Americans, and their tax dollars, are defended as the Executive Director of @WHFraudTF.
Welcome to the team, Scott 🇺🇸
Heartbroken for Kyle Busch’s family, friends, and fans. Like all who knew him, Kyle’s ferocious passion and courage inspired me. My thoughts and prayers are with Samantha, whose strength steeled him, so may she feel all of our support as we celebrate Kyle’s spirit.
I’ve competed hard against @mcuban for years — including a few sharp elbows from him in NBA Celebrity All-Star games. Now, we're on the same team: standing with President Trump to expand access to affordable prescription drugs through https://t.co/hHOIw9ty48. This isn’t about politics or personalities, this is about helping patients afford the medicines they need. When innovators, business leaders, physicians, and policymakers work together, Americans win.

The drug fueled destruction of the local community is evident to all walking the streets of Kensington, Philadelphia. Since I first covered this massive open air drug market and the resulting catastrophe of homelessness in 2017, the city seems to be inadvertently nurturing the despair. But glimmers of hope are found in people fighting to make their streets safe and healthy again. And it starts with shutting down the drug dealers profiting off the pain.
Some folks made a big deal out of President Trump joking that diet soda is “healthy.” So yesterday on Air Force One, the President switched things up for us with a spicy virgin Bloody Mary—turns out the real recipe for good health might just be a sense of humor.
Great evening at the Trump Kennedy Center with my friend Shira Boehler. Shira was a fit, healthy, non-smoking wife and mom of four when a scan detected lung cancer. Now cancer free, her relentless advocacy for the power of proactive screening comes at a time when lung cancer kills more American women than breast, ovarian, and cervical cancer combined — and early detection just might save a life.
Lisa and I were honored to attend the White House welcome of King Charles and Queen Camilla to celebrate the friendship of our two great nations. I also celebrate the fact that President Trump is making prescription medications more affordable for all American citizens by enforcing “most favored nation” drug pricing — so we no longer pay 3x more than other wealthy counties for the same meds. The UK has agreed to meaningfully increase their prescription payments to fund their fair share of the research and development of lifesaving medicines for the first time in a quarter century. This will further gold-standard scientific research and ensure fair pricing for all. Other countries must follow the UK’s lead.
Excited to see my buddy @OzTheMentalist is ready to host tonight’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner. We have been getting each other’s mail for years. He did not ask me for my mentalist tips to prepare but I am getting a feeling that three Ozes are better than one!
Do you spend much of your day at a computer? Here are some simple exercises you can do to reduce the negative impact that sitting has on your health. https://t.co/VFIOdJOBll
In a paradigm shift for mental health treatment, President Trump’s Executive Order fast-tracks access to psychedelic treatments for 14 million Americans in need. Momentum matters—credit to @joerogan for reigniting the conversation and to @SecKennedy for driving a whole-of-government response. Grateful to work alongside leaders who refuse to accept ‘no’ when lives are on the line.
