BIBLE PASSAGES
Genesis 1-3 (coherence of) https://t.co/X80B00Wqki

[Based on Genesis 4:19-24]
The Bible’s first bigamist was Lamech.
He had an excessive attachment to the number 2.
2 wives: Adah & Zillah, who had to listen to poetic lines doubled through parallelism.
Adah & Zillah each had 2 children.
🧵 The social media narrative about New College is now a bit out of control. Things to know:
1) Our school is growing, just admitted our biggest ever student intake (making us the largest school in the UK in our field), and is an important part of the UoE.

The peer review system already lacks strong incentives for reviewers to be thorough. AI submissions exacerbate that so that, even if we imagine that some such submissions are of high quality, the pressure on the peer review system by additional AI-generated volume has to mean less peer review per paper with a negative impact on overall publication quality. Therefore use of AI in submissions must be limited sufficiently to motivate human peer reviewers to remain thorough.
AI papers in primarily AI journals peer reviewed by AI is fine.
Humans and AI are also not sufficiently ‘peers’ to review each others’ works comprehensively.
Over the next few weeks we are looking at words that Tyndale is widely credited with coining. Up this week: lovingkindness
Why not visit our website to find more resources on William Tyndale and read the special edition of our magazine.
NEW: Jehovah’s Witnesses have just officially changed their position on accepting blood products in medical care.
It’s now a matter of individual conscience. It’s also a bit confusing as they say that:
“the decision to accept red cells, white cells, plasma or platelets from another person’s blood is a matter of personal conscience”
But they still reject whole blood transfusions.
@GeorgyKantor@TDieppe I wonder whether Mullaly might not have anticipated that Ashrafi’s wife would be fully covered up, but it’s (almost) too late when your honoured guests arrive and the camera is there. Really disastrous photo.
Since 2020, our School of Theology has welcomed people from all around the world to grow in their knowledge and love of God.
