Once again our “PANTHIC POETESS” @drpmehta
has gifted us another masterpiece “ what December means”
The month of December reminds us of the immortal battle of Chamkaur Sahib and the unparalleled martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas who were bricked alive in the walls of Sirhind.
Her composition "What December Means, has beautifully and respectfully highlighted the dual essence of this month.
She paid tribute to the historic sacrifices of the Guru sahib in parallel with the joys of Christmas where our great Guru sahib sacrificed his 4sons,Mata Gujri Ji & the entire family for the sake of the Panth. This poem reminds us that December is not only about lights and festivities, but also the month of incomparable sacrifices.I thanks @drpmehta for this soul stirring Panthic creation. Her pen has made an invaluable contribution in carrying these sacred memories of Sikh history to the new generation.Such compositions help keep our Panth in Chardi Kala and connect the world with the message of Sikhi.
May Guru Sahib bless your pen with even greater strength 🖊️
Thanks & best wishes to @drpmehta Ji.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! 🙏🪯
@BaazzOnHunt Thanks for your kind words! Yes, our history of warrior saints is so inspiring to learn from. With Guru’s grace, I hope I can write more about Sikhs.
My poem "Memory of a Candlelight Dinner" is about those days in November 1984 when we hid in our home ... A painful reminder of a different kind of candlelight dinner. #NeverForget1984

Sat Sri Akal @drpmehta ji🙏Thank you for gifting us this soul-stirring poetic masterpiece 💎
"Tassels of Kindness" from On Wings of Words is a divine blessing, weaving the spirit of Bandi Chorr Divas and Guru Sahib legacy into every verse.
The call to light the "dazzling fire warrior within" resonates with the Sikh ideals of “MIRI-PIRI”balancing spiritual strength and temporal justice. A masterpiece of Sikh poetry that honors our Gurus’ teachings and inspires seva for all🙏.

In these 5 years I have made many friends, learned lessons about trust and wondered many times about our humanity and power of kindness. May the next 5 years bring more kindness and inspiration my way! #MyXAnniversary
