Heart wrenching visuals from the location. Hundreds of bezubaans left homeless after a Goan Hindu Temple's president, Manjunath Dukle (a builder) sent hired goons to illegally raze down a Gaushala overnight. We were told he wanted to give this land to @ArtofLiving to make a commercial project there.

All rescued gauvansh given shelters by dhyan foundation all destroyed overnight by these goons backed by temple authorities. It’s a shame to see this. V STRICT ACTION SHOULD B TAKEN AGAINST THEM.

President Manjunath Dukley, a builder himself, brought his builder-friend Pravas Naik Nanu into the picture. Nanu advocates for Dukley saying, "So what if cattle are suffering, should he give up on prime land for cattle?"

The priorities couldn't be clearer. And this is on land donated to the temple FOR propagation of dharmik karyas, not for profits or commercialisation.

*President of Temple Committee Threatens to Raze Down Gaushala Housing Rescued Gaumatas & Nandis in Goa*

Manjunath Dukley, President of Shree Ram Nath Damodar Sansthan Temple Committee in #Goa had given an NOC for the dharmik karya of running a Gaushala for rescued gauvansh on donated temple land which the Committee administers, 4+ months back.

Now, in connivance with his builder friend Pravas Naik Nanu, they want to usurp the temple land and make a commercial project on it.

He has been claiming that he has received money from Art of Living to make a commercial project here.

Nanu has openly proclaimed that he does not care if the poor, undernourished cows from the Goan streets are left out in the monsoons, to fend for themselves.

Today, Dukley entered the Gaushala forcibly with an SI from Quepem PS and threatened a female volunteer Dency with dire consequences, assaulted a staff member, and illegally asked them to vacate the entire Gaushala, taking the gauvansh to the streets.

Shockingly, when we pointed out to Nanu on a phone call that sans the relocation the gauvansh would be stranded in the rain, he simply said, "So what? Should we give up on a good land for them?"

It is most unfortunate that these are the people who are entrusted with taking care of the donated land of a Hindu temple. And that the first thing they chose to do on assuming power is raze down a home to hundreds of rescued Gaumatas and Nandis.

Dhyan Foundation has been serving the nation by rehabilitating the gauvansh rescued from being smuggled on the border by the BSF since 2018.

While Honorable Prime Minister and Home Minister sirs are taking great measures to tighten security at the Indo-Bangladesh border areas, it is almost unfortunate that BSF Tripura is not honouring the terms of the MoU between BSF and DF.

8 vehicles stuffed with 15+ buffaloes each caught at Hingonia Toll Plaza, Jaipur going for illegal slaughter. There are vehicles passing every 5 minutes.

Despite it being a clear case of animal cruelty and a massive smuggling racket- police are letting vehicles go despite repeated complaints.

Instead of taking action, cops are aiding the traffickers to escape.

8+ #camels and 50+ #cattle illegally hoarded for #Eid slaughter. We gave a written complaint and requested the police for a raid, and accompanied the media and the police to the spot.

Not only were we met by a mob there (how did the news leak?), but the 1 bull rescued by the police on our insistence was also snatched back by the mob.

Police then removed our volunteers — and sent the media team back midway. Later, this same one bull was quietly recovered — a token gesture.

Now, the DCP claims “nothing exists” in a 1.5 km radius. Can the @BlrCityPolice not see the massive #camels being paraded through the streets? And bulls tied in open view?

We gave intel. We went with police. The raid was leaked. A mob was ready.

In our own country, we’re not allowed to enter these colonies — even with police escort.

Is this law enforcement or surrender?
