I lived in Iran for 22 years.

When I was a kid, my mom would buy me new books back to back to read before bed.
We didn't have widespread cell phones or even a proper internet connection back then in Iran, so my dopamine came from books, movies, music, and socializing.

I'm glad the culture of reading books, watching proper movies, and valuing art in general is coming back after years of decades of digitalization of minds.
