Dr Proctor will start the role on 1 September 2024, when he will take over from our current MDDP @IRguru.

@RCRadiologists @sajidjavid @DHSCgovuk It really isn't JUST about "investing in workforce"- that's a long term strategy that take many years to train more consultants.

They urgently need to address the barriers to working more & retiring later i.e. sort out punitive pension taxation to improve retention

We welcome @SajidJavid’s plan to tackle the elective backlog with an NHS recovery plan. But any plan requires significant investment in workforce, updating out of date equipment and IT.
