Kimi Antonelli is:
🇮🇹 The youngest driver to win his home Grand Prix
👏 The youngest driver to lead a Grand Prix
1️⃣ The youngest driver to secure pole position for a Grand Prix
⚡️ The youngest driver to set a fastest lap
💫 The youngest driver to lead a World Championship
Took a little break this weekend, but I am now here for you explaining the biggest news of today and that is that Pogačar will ride the Vuelta.
I get that the Portuguese fans are mad that Pogi took a unique chance of winning a Grand Tour from Almeida, but Pogi is the boss.
But less I understand the “cycling fans” saying how he ruined a race with this. You know if somebody like Remco and Del Toro would start I would agree, but I am not in the mood to watch some C-tier riders battling for the win and getting some random rider to win.
Of course with all due respect, because I value riders so much. Let’s see then who will start. Apart from Almeida, Gall should be the biggest podium candidate, 2nd at the Giro and he is simply good. Then Roglič, who has that injury currently. And Skjelmose, Uijtdebroeks, Plapp, Widar, Rodriguez. So not much so far.
Pedersen - Van Aert will be insane, although I am curious how they will manage with Brennan. And he is the route also, Van Aert big candidate for the red jersey, and then stage 4 is something I really look forward to.
Well, this is what I think about it, I will of course happily hear also your takes.
