This scene was just dynamite! There's a beautiful detail in this scene people often miss out on:
After the agreement for Aslan to sacrifice himself, the witch asked Aslan how she would know if Aslan would keep his promise,
Aslan didn't say a word, instead he roared so loudly the witch was so terrified and left very swiftly.
In the little details, the words of Jesus comes to mind:
“No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” John 10:18
Aslan responding with a roar reminded the witch that his sacrifice wasn't from a position of weakness but from a position of strength. He was not backed into a corner or left with no choice but he CHOSE willingly to give his life.
The roar was a silent wordless reminder: “I am Aslan, I am still the LION, this sacrifice is because I want to, not because you have made me do it...”
A complete 10/10 interpretation and delivery of the scene and a beautiful allegorical presentation of the willing sacrifice of Jesus - the Lion who gave himself as the lamb of the world!
At this point, I honestly believe most of you guys are lying about women billing you.
No sane woman is asking a man for money when y’all literally just started talking TWO DAYS ago.
I’m sorry, I don’t believe it. Y’all are making this shit up at this point.
My problem with Paediatrics is that you are expected to go the extra mile for your patients.
Every single day.
And it is physically and mentally exhausting
