In Maharashtra, alternate medicine grads are easy replacement to MBBS providing more economical workforce options for private hospitals. Contractual Govt. posts are difficult to get with non-transparent selection process.

Target is there to increase seats by 75000 more. Don't know where this workforce will be absorbed.
Corporatization will absorbs some of these grads in metro cities. But for tier 2, 3 cities it will be impossible to find job. Starting own practice remains available option.

May be bcz if someone pulls out list of sugar factory owners, it will have ownership links with opposition party members as well.
In Maharashtra, politicians/kins from almost all parties own sugar factories.

Ethanol blending is such a potent issue for opposition to take up. Where general public can truly benefit from pressure from the opposition.
