The CDC awarded Pfizer two contracts totaling approximately $1.24 billion for COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, but these are framework agreements (IDIQ contracts) for potential future purchases.

Contracts awarded on June 1, 2026, by the CDC:
-$735.7 million for pediatric COVID-19 vaccines (covering fiscal years 2026–2027).
-$505.3 million for adult COVID-19 vaccines (same period).

These are Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. They establish terms and maximum values for supply if needed during the respiratory season, but do not commit the government to buying that full amount (or any specific amount) upfront.

All because the CDC is still allowing the propaganda “safe and effective” to exist.
