I'm sitting in a relatively stressful hospital waiting room, but the "pre-scouts" of @ABurish37 as told by @MarkLazerus have me smiling from ear-to-ear like an idiot. Thank you both.

Rex, love your work. I suggest you follow John, truly one of the brightest people I know and he happened to answer your libel question here...

@LenKasper Being a "hat tipper" is often viewed as being an apologist. Ask @BleacherNation , who often credits the other team after a Cubs loss. His timeline is usually a train wreck when he does. Fans would rather blame own team than give credit to opponent.
@BleacherNation There's an usher at Wrigley (upper deck behind home) who gives out old baseball cards of the visiting team to fans of that team just to welcome them and promote baseball discussion between parents/kids. Such a cool idea.
@ChefZahner @Buster_ESPN Schadenfreude: joy derived from others' misfortune. If NY does well you'll feel the opposite: gluckschmerz. A lot of both in sports fans!
