@TheBreakdownAB@PatBernat And more firings in AHS this week. One wonders if it because people can no longer toe the party line of "everything is fine". Better is not on the horizon.
One of the issues cited was lack of data. We have so much data in AB but it is rarely shared and assessed to help improve the system. HQA is unfortunately, not an independent organization from GoA.

Dozens of Alberta academics (including myself) have written/signed an open letter calling for a public inquiry into the breach of the voter list. The letter can be viewed here https://t.co/pXjfwJgzBn
This is out of hand. Communities are uniting and creating restrictive covenants. City council and @AndrewKnack need to rethink this.

Physicians are there for Canadians in moments that matter most, offering help, hope and healing. On National Physicians' Day - and every day - we thank physicians for all they do. #nationalphysiciansday https://t.co/QMw7zQXvfF
Sadly front line staff have told AHS and Covenant for years we need better security. Dr. Thirsk correctly points out that signs stating zero tolerance for violence do nothing to protect health care workers.
Have seen some bullying behavior from @CovenantCA this week towards docs. This is why medical staff bylaws need to be co created with shared responsibility.

Physician intimidation comes in many ways... I have had colleagues warn me many times "Paul watch your back, powerful people are unhappy with your advocacy"...

Thank you Sharon Kirkey @nationalpost for shedding light on the national issue of administrative harassment & bullying against physicians who speak out about dangerous overcrowding and unreported deaths in emergency rooms. @CAEP_Docs@TrevorJain@PfParks

AB’s 2024 MAID survey showed mixed views, with fewer respondents supporting stronger safeguards than opposing them.
Bill 18 introduces constraints not directly asked about in the survey.
How did that consultation translate into policy?
