Got told with 12 hours to spare that a locum post I was signed onto for 2 months suddenly has dropped me because of lack of funds. Whilst also receiving and email today about rota gaps in the same dept 🙃 love being jobless and not able to pay rent

I am literally put in a different ward every day as a locum there is ZERO continuity of care in that action alone on a normal weekday. They can pretend all they want to try and guilt junior docs out of striking ✌🏻 I don’t want to hear it

As a locum I’m moved literally every day (🤦🏼‍♀️) but had a patient traumatized by an ABG with lots of digging, convinced them to let me use local, (v successful) and told them to ask for it and advocate for themselves next time +

@mrseleanorohara They gave us a “doctors desk” at the top of the ward because the ANPs threw a fit about us using their office…. The “desk” was so low you had to sit on the floor to use it. Great look for the NHS. Doctors sitting on the floor in plain sight of everyone to work
