@jackspeer1@NPR So very sad to see you go. I listen to you every afternoon, and always say “I’m Jack Speer” right along with you. Hope your next chapter makes you as happy as you’ve made me! God Bless!
@OverUnderClover @DrGRuralMD @eastnashmike And… we can’t just do a quick test and send folks on their way. We have to look for flu, pneumonia, RSV, COPD exacerbation, etc. Even though pcp offices aren’t ERs, we’re still on the hook for taking care of these folks, not just giving a test result. This is our mission.
@DrGRuralMD My 2 APNs and I take turns seeing sick pts only, for half days at a time. The 2 who aren’t seeing sick take care of chronic/non-urgent stuff, and we’ve just adjusted our wellness scheduling accordingly. Did the same with the Delta surge. If we don’t, everyone flocks to the ER.
@NurseOSavage Mr. Randall in 9th grade Biology, and his wife Mrs. Randall in 11th grade Chemistry. Small town Arkansas. Big factors in my pursuit of a biology degree, and in a 25 year career as a family doc back in that small home town.

How one small-town physician is convincing his patients to get vaccinated for COVID-19 feat. @AledadeACO rockstar @drsp27 of Malvern Arkansas https://t.co/RcHHraTHVt via @medeconomics
Throughout the pandemic, we've supported primary care providers with resources like PPE & telehealth guidance.
This time they want their patients to know they're a trusted resource for info about the vaccine.
We're proud to help them deliver that message.
