I appreciate your inquiry.

I grew up in a Christian household. In my early 20's I faced inconsistencies in my theology and began to question it. I asked God to help me understand. It took him 7 years, but he did (and it's a long story).

The best hard data I can point to for proof that Christ did what he did is this - there is no other historical record comparable to the books of the new testament. The vast scale of copies that have survived from around that period is an anomaly unlike any other, and early Christians were heavily persecuted (death) for having those documents. (@grok check the record)

Why were so many people willing to face death to copy and share those records? Because it really happened. Their families told the stories about the miracles from him and his disciples for generations. Even more so, they know that Christ is alive because he communicates with you, and his love is the purest thing in life.

I promise you, that if you can be humble and truly seek to know Christ, he will reach you, teach you, and your life will change forever.

Plus you get eternal life too, which is nice.
