@tultican@DianeRavitch We most likely hold different views on what a successful education looks like. A difference we are not likely to reconcile. I appreciate your reply.
@ChalkboardMav@educatedandfree "Children had rather be making of Tools and Instruments of Play; Shaping, Drawing, Framing, and Building, than getting some Rules of Propriety of Speech by Heart: And those also would follow with more Judgment, and less Trouble and Time." -William Penn
@CoachGoodman@WeinsteinEdu Diversity-of style, personality, and approach—is a strength, not a flaw. What matters more than identical reactions is a consistent structure that explicitly helps students build executive function. Kids benefit from learning how to adapt within safe, structured environments.

@rickwormeli2 Took a look at the article you wrote. Well written and interesting. I can't respond to all of your points but one phrase stood out throughout “Teaching accurate history”. It sounds noble but it's often a justification for idealogy over inquiry in the classroom.
@rickwormeli2 Calling disagreement over CRT gaslighting” shifts the burden of truth onto others. It frames opposing views as dishonest or worse malicious, shutting down genuine debate and harming open discourse.
Just completed our first full-day PD session of the year. It was excellent but it's challenging to absorb and retain all the content I received in a way that will be useful. Is there a better way to approach this?

@tooninwithmetv Americana Amusement Park, Ohio, the terror and excitement of rides with questionable safety + junk food+ a pond full of carp that could swallow a 9 year old = best time of your life!
@alicekeeler @zoom_us Things a teacher shouldn't have to worry about...has this become a thing? I don't have any experience with 'porn hackers', but when I close a goto it ends the session for everyone. It also gives you the option to lock the sessions so new attendees can't join.
Teachers have a lot of questions about meeting required hours for iep's and title 1 during extended school closure.
Has anyone come up with any effective solution's?
