Telling yourself "it will only take 'x' minutes" is a huge winning strategy to a daunting/annoying task.

We teach our kids art, band, foreign languages, chemistry, biology, etc in schools - but NO personal finance. It's ludicrous.

Adding financial education to the curriculum doesn't fully solve the problem, but it's a good starting point. We can do better.
