Other VTubers actually make NSFW or racy content, and the same crowd calls them whores. Refuse it and you’re a hypocrite. Lean into it and you’re a whore. It was never about consistency.

If you’re a VTuber/streamer, do what you actually want to do and ignore the haters. That crowd was never going to be your audience anyway.

I feel people take Homura's perspective in Rebellion as "word of law" rather than as a broken, depressed girl who never truly matured or grew up past the time loops. She never had the opportunity to live in a world without Madoka and can't handle it.

The whole point of Madoka's wish is that she is NOT in despair when she makes it. She made the wish fully knowing the ramifications and truly wanting to make a difference. To show everyone that these girls didn't deserve to fall into despair. That their efforts weren't in vain.
