Adrian, let me give you a history lesson. The Communists were defeated with the collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia is a pretend Democracy (Authoritarian) regime. Ukraine was also a Democratic country (briefly) until Zelenskyy suspended all further elections. They are also now an authoritarian country. China IS a Communist country and our arch enemy. If you are a Democrat, you now support Marxist Islamic Communists. Since you appear not to know any of this, I must assume you know nothing about Communists, most likely because they never taught you about them in Public school. I would advise you to learn as much as possible about the failures of this system. BTW, they have killed more of their civilians (by far) than even Hitler, both totalitarian systems.
