Helljumpers | Extraction Overview
Our extraction system for Helljumpers is slightly different than the one seen in Helldivers 2. The reason for this is so we can allow 'out-of-game progression' in a way. We essentially want to make an in-game lobby, which will be your ship.
Extraction Horde:
The extraction horde essentially means, the moment you finish your main objectives, the difficulty will go from hard, to horde. This means enemies will spawn at a faster rate and from both factions instead of the one you had the entire game. So get your ass to extraction.
Extraction Terminal:
The extraction terminal works the same as it does in Helldivers 2, press the button and a Pelican will be inbound only 2 minutes out.
Extraction Benefits:
Extracting with less players, results in less points and points are what you need more than anything in Helljumpers, extracting with the maximum number of players will grant a bonus on-top of the baseline per-player points for an extraction.
Extraction Isn't The End:
Unlike Helldivers 2, after an extraction the game will not end, instead, the Pelican will take you straight back to your Hangar Bay in your ship and with all the points you have collected from main objectives, side missions, bonus missions or extraction, you will be able to purchase weapons, upgrades or orbital assistance for your next Helljump. Or if you do want to leave, just leave the solar system from your bridge.
More Soon:
We will share more details soon on how the game is set up every time to make it different with procedural objectives, dynamic events and more. We look forward to bringing the Helldivers 2 experience to Halo Infinite.
No spartan left behind.
